Strategy
Our main aim is to publicise best practice
nationally. Our work broadly centres around identifying, managing
and teaching about hazards and risks. Some of the areas we
regularly cover include violence, aggression, stress and fire
risk.
We offer information and support to IOSH members and non-members
alike. We keep our members up to date through Connect and
articles on our webpages, and we maintain links with key external
bodies, including the Regional Safety Officers' Group (RESOG), the
HSE and the National Association of Advisers and Inspectors in
Design and Technology (NAAIDT).
Our current objectives include:
- holding regular networking events on education topics
- improving links with the branch network
- developing links with key external organisations
- working with key stakeholders to promote health and safety in
education.
