Communications Champion opportunity

The IOSH Construction Group is looking for a member to join the committee in the role of Communications Champion. The role will involve copywriting, some social media activity and engagement on behalf of the committee.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a good standard of written English, possessing strong IT and communication skills.

You will be supported by colleagues from IOSH's e-communications and networks teams and relevant training and guidance will be provided.

Job Role:

·         Produce and coordinate news items and articles for the Construction Group microsite

·         Involvement with some social media activity on behalf of the group, namely supporting the development of the Group’s LinkedIn Subgroup

·         Monitor industry news and highlight topics of interest that can be shared with the committee, with our members and with wider audiences via our microsite and LinkedIn subgroup

·         Work closely with the Construction Group committee and IOSH colleagues

·         Maintain a positive relationship with representatives in IOSH branches in the UK and internationally and maintain channels of communication
