Christine Barringer
Head of Transportation Section, HSE
Chris Barringer holds a BSc (Hons) in
biochemistry and postgraduate qualifications in information
technology and health and safety.
She has experience in research, legal, sales and marketing of
medical and scientific equipment, followed by five years in
recruitment and for a career break.
Chris joined the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in 1992 as an
inspector and has specialist experience in docks and airports.
Chris is currently Head of HSE Transportation Section responsible
for ports, airports, road haulage and road passenger transport
policy.
