What are you two plane at?
25 February 2010
Two drunken men sparked a terror alert
after they scaled the fence and broke into a hangar at Dundee
Airport.
Police arrived expecting to find a terrorist incident only to
find one of the men "wearing a pink cowboy hat, straddling a plane
with a fire extinguisher and covered in foam".
The two men have had their sentence defered for a year, for them
to be of good behaviour - and were told to "voluntarily" pay
compensation to aircraft owners, Tayside Aviation.
A spokesman for Dundee Airport Operator Highlands and Islands
Airports Ltd said:
"There is strict security on the airport
site."
