Health and safety skills workshop
Overview
Following on from the successful DuPont event, the IOSH
Yorkshire Branch are pleased to offer a half-day behavioural based
safety workshop.
The morning workshop starts from 08:30-12:30 and the afternoon
workshop from 12:30-16:30.
Programme
Delivered in a modular fashion, this event will explore 3 main
topics:
- Empowering individual responsibility - focusing on a case
study, including a look at contributing factors relating to the
pressures and challenges faced by supervisory staff
- Accident investigation - developing open questioning and
listening skills and relating this to organisational and management
cultures
- Challenging behaviours and attitudes - skills-based practice in
handling difficult conversations, attitudes and beliefs.
Each module will encourage delegates to interact and 'have
a go' with opportunities to identify areas for workplace
application of the skills gained.

IOSH member - £37.50 + VAT (£7.50) = £45
Non-member - £47.50 + VAT (£9.50) = £57
