Overview
BEHAVIOURAL SAFETY EVENTS ACROSS SCOTLAND IN MAY
2010
All Scottish Branches and Districts are coming together, through
IOSH Scotland, to bring you, in association with other partners,
behavioural safety events across Scotland in May 2010.
Following a highly successful pilot last year, we are delighted to
bring you “Terminal” by London based AKT Productions.
This theatre based learning production will be held in:
Inverness College on Wednesday 12 May
2010
Please note there is only an afternoon
session:
Afternoon session:13.00-16.30
This is a Working Well Together event with support from many
partners such as: the Civil Engineering Contractors Association
(CECA) Scotland, the Federation of Master Builders, Scottish
Building Federation, Construction Skills, the Scottish Civil
Engineering Construction Training Group, Scottish Water and
Solutions.
What's in it for me
Despite today's economic climate, safety remains paramount and
it is in everyone's best interests to learn to avoid or prevent
accidents. "Terminal" is based on a true story. The performance is
stimulating and emotive and allows the audience to view behaviours
they have seen, even their own, objectively, sitting in the
audience.
Who should attend?
The event is aimed at all employees - all site based staff, all
levels of management supervision and support staff as well as
health and safety professionals.
Speakers
“Terminal” is delivered by AKT Productions, who are based in
London, and facilitated by Sue Briggs of AKT.
AKT Productions Limited is the UK's premier provider of
theatre-based learning resources. AKT has been developing high
quality learning and development programmes for over 10 years.
You can also see AKT Productions in action at the IOSH 2010
Conference.
They will be performing in the IOSH Networks Theatre &
Lounge in the SECC main Exhibition Hall on Wednesday 24 March 2010
