Member in February 2007.

Professional experience
I sarted work at A Reyrolle & Co. in Hebburn as an
apprentice in 1964, finishing my time as an electrical fitter in
1969 in Reyrolle Protection.
In 1971 I became a test engineer, producing testing and
reporting to various British Standards on prototype relays and
instruments for approval by external panels.
In 1991, I became engineer in charge of the Hamilton Laboratory,
which was part of the customer services department. I moved
departments again in 2007 to become QES engineer with
responsibilities for health safety and environment issues within
the company.
I have also been a union safety representative since 1985.
