Overview

This event is designed as a round-up of the past 12 month's legal health and safety 'goings - on'. It will cover the Lofstedt report and the government's avowed aim to reduce red tape for business.

Refreshments will be served from 19.00 and the meeting will commence at 19.30

What's in it for me

At the time of writing, this event will focus on the Lofstedt report and its twists and turns , wherever they may lead. Time will also be made to comment on any other significant relevant legal occurrences which impact upon health and safety. This event is a 'must attend' for all safety professionals.

Who should attend?

Anyone who is interested in the way in which the courts and legislation impact upon safety as it is practiced "on the ground".

Speakers

Mark Tyler is a Solicitor and Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner. Based in Reading, he recently founded Salutaris Legal which focuses on workplace and product safety issues. He is a member of CBI Health and Safety Panel and the author of various books including Tolley’s Workplace Accident Handbook.
