Branch history
The South West Branch of IOSH started life
as an offshoot of the Bristol Branch and for many years operated in
this informal way with an enthusiastic group, including Henry Tabb,
who devised a programme of events for those members unable to make
the long journey to Bristol.
With growing numbers in Devon and Cornwall, IOSH agreed to a new
South West Branch which was launched at Dartington Hall in April
2000 under the chairmanship of Robert Hawkins. The branch has since
flourished and we've seen our membership steadily grow. We now
offer our members an annual programme of events which proves ever
more popular.
