IOSH South East branch are hosting an interactive evening, presented by health and safety enforcement officers from across Kent, to help you prepare your business for that knock on the door from an unannounced Health and Safety Inspector.

Come and find out:

  • when do businesses get visited?
  • what will the inspector want to see?
  • what action can they take?
  • how inspectors determine enforcement outcomes (application of the enforcement management model)
  • the topics likely to be reviewed by the inspectors (and how topic inspection packs can help you focus on the key issues)
  • how to get the most out of your visit
  • the problems commonly encountered
  • and finally, practical tips for ensuring your inspection goes smoothly.

 

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and gain a valuable insight into how health and safety inspectors work. 

A light buffet will be served from 18.00.
