Local Exhaust Ventilation in the Workplace
Overview
An opportunity to learn more about the standards required for
local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems in the workplace. You
will have the opportunity to see an award winning demonstration put
together by the Health & Safety Laboratory (HSL).

Speakers
Vince Sandys is a Senior Occupational Hygienist at the Health
and Safety Laboratory (HSL). HSLs Occupational Hygiene Unit has
seven out based Field Units, Vince manages our East Grinstead Unit,
where he provides Occupational Hygiene services and advice to HSE
and non HSE clients.
Vince has over 25 years experience of working as part of HM
Specialist Inspectors of Occupational Hygiene. His role is to
gather Occupational Hygiene information and provide OH support to
HSE inspectors across a wide and diverse range of industry
sectors.
Vince's Occupational Hygiene skills are supported by his earlier
background on analytical chemistry.
