Overview
Quite often we talk about safety in construction but not enough
is understood about the Health part. Our guest speaker will
be talking in general about what is Construction Occupational
Health and the benefits of a national scheme: Constructing Better
Health. This is a sister scheme to the CSCS, which is a
not-for-profit organisation owned by the construction industry,
which provides impartial advice, information, education and
guidance to help its clients implement occupational health
management primarily for the good of the industry’s
workforce. It is also actively supported by the
HSE.
