On behalf of the committee of the
South Downs Branch, I'd like to welcome you to our website. We hope
that you'll find the format an interesting, helpful and informative
way of keeping you up to date with the branch's activities and
events and also with other IOSH activities which are of particular
interest to you.
This is the start of a new period in
IOSH, as there are several major changes taking place both at
management level and at branch level.

Last Branch Meeting - December 2011
Presidents Visit
Subash joined our meeting to firstly introduce himself as well
as explaining what his plans were for his year in post as IOSH
president. Subash's main theme of what he was hoping to
achieve was raising the professional competence of our members to
further reinforce the integrity of the institution.
Subash also gave a short presentation on 'Leadership' that
further emphasised his thinking behind his plans relating to
professional competence.
The branch thanked Subash in the usual way for a
very informative presentation delivered by a very accomplished
speaker.
