CIB International Conference on Modelling and Building Health
and Safety
Overview
The IOSH Singapore Branch has worked alongside the International
Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction
(CIB), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the
Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) to organise this two-day
CIB W009 International Conference on Modelling and Building Health
and Safety.
IOSH President Elect, Gerard Hand, will be speaking at the event
which will address some of the key issues construction workers are
faced with, and give insight into the most effective ways of
improving the safety performance in the global industry.
The conference will be held at the Singapore Maria Bay Sands, on
Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 September, and will be hosted by the
Department of Building, National University of Singapore. The
Co-Chairs of the organising Committee of the conference are
Associate Professor Evelyn Teo Ai Lin and Professor George
Ofori.
