GRŴP IECHYD A DIOGELWCH GOGLEDD-ORLLEWIN CYMRU
NORTH WEST WALES HEALTH & SAFETY GROUP and IOSH NORTH WALES BRANCH - 11 January 2012

A joint afternoon meeting of Grŵp Lechyd A Diogelwch Gogledd-Orllewin Cymru / North West Wales Health and Safety Group (NWWHSG) and IOSH North Wales Branch, was held a Bangor University, the meeting attracted over 50 people from all aspects of the North West Wales business community.

The meeting was introduced by Ms Lisa Fowlie of NWWHSG and Sandy Jennings Branch Chairman.

The practical interactive workshop was lead by Mr Mike Morrell one of the Branch members who originated the workshop. He gave a short introduction into the basis of accident investigation techniques and the objectives of the workshop.

Table groups of between six and eight persons were established, each table with a table leader in possession of all the relevant evidence, to carry out an investigation into circumstances surrounding a road traffic accident involving a road tanker in a small Welsh village

The event lasted for 2 to 2.5 hours and proved to be very interesting and informative for all who took part, include those both experienced and completely inexperienced in accident investigation.
