CDM - Fire safety in construction
Overview
This event covers the requirements for fire safety planning and
implementation in both conventional build and timber framed
construction sites.
The HSE construction speaker will cover:
- Roof works
- refurbishment works
- new build particularly at fit out
- timber framed structures
The CDM Regs 2007 part 4 require that arrangements are in place
at all stages of construction similar to those in a finished
structure, i.e. fire risk assessment, emergency procedures,
adequate means of escape, fire detection and fire fighting measures
etc.
What's in it for me?
This is a must attend event for those associated with
construction who need to get it right on site - not alight on
site.
Who should attend?
Anyone with an interest in construction and high risk aspects of
fire.
