"The pragmatic approach".

Networks and International Committee (NAIC); from Nattasha
Freeman
What's in it for me
The principles of Risk Management isn’t something new,
however they are widely misunderstood.
This talk will look at the different tools available, that
you can use to educate senior people in business to make
risk management decisions that ensure that good health and
safety practice becomes good business.
The presentation will use a number of practical examples in
order to get the message across and enable delegates to get
involved through questioning at all stages. The topics covered
include:
· What is Risk
· Assessing Risk the Modern way
· Review how we currently assess
· Gambling as part of the process
· Assessment and Credibility
· Fact or Fiction
Additional presentation - The Networks and international
Committee (NAIC).
Nattasha Freeman will give a short presentation on the Networks
and International Committee (NAIC).
Since the Branch Review Working Party proposals, following
member consultation, IOSH, branches and groups have undergone much
review and change - better financial management, IOSH support and
most importantly more MEMBER INVOLVEMENT.
The presentation will cover the NAIC role in the process and
touch on progress that has been made through this change - the NAIC
is your voice - and how YOU can contribute.
