Overview
Anna Harington is a self-employed occupational health advisor.
Anna specialises in sickness absence management and is an associate
of The Management Advisory Service (MAS). MAS aim is to enhance
employee wellbeing and performance, and prevent work related
stress.
This is carried out through consultancy services and training
workshops. Anna works specifically on emotional resilience, in
individuals and organisations. She has a specialist interest in
mental health at work, this stretches from improving performance to
enabling recovery and return to work.
Prior to this Anna worked for the Sandwell Workwell project
which was funded to improve the health of the working population.
The project piloted a number of projects which involved building
teams from public, private and third sector to work collaboratively
on a shared objective.
Anna also has worked with NEBOSH developing their Certificate in
the Management of Health and Wellbeing at work, and remains a
scrutineer and examiner for them.
What's in it for me?
The presentation will aim to increase your understanding of
stress; the prevention and management of it at work. It will touch
on the HSE Stress management framework and the HSE/CIPD management
competency framework.
Anna is keen to share learning so the session will be
pro-active with many opportunities for discussions and
questions.
