investigation - responsibilities, protocol, what to look for,
evidence requirements and outcomes.

John Lawley, FIOSH RSP
John Lawley spent over 40 years of his life
dedicated to IOSH and the promotion of improved safety for
all. With a career based in Construction, he strived to
represent the industry’s concerns in IOSH and was Chairman of the
Construction Group including representing them on the IOSH
Council. He became involved in the Midland Branch during the
late 1960s and became Chairman of the Branch Construction Section
in 1986. The following year he was elected Branch Vice
Chairman and then became Chairman in 1988. In 2003 he was
appointed Branch President, a post he treasured until his death in
May this year. This seminar is a dedicated to John’s memory
in recognition of his contribution to the Midland Branch, IOSH and
the world of health and safety.
