IOSH Iran
Welcome to IOSH Iran
Due to the expansion of industries in various
sectors, such as the oil and gas sector here in Iran,
about 40,000 people are currently working in the occupational
safety and health profession.
IOSH Iran aims to build an extensive and solid OSH professionals
network that enables members to regularly communicate with other
skilled practitioners across the world.
Through sharing knowledge and experience as well as working to
achieve professional qualifications at all international levels, we
seriously strive to improve the level of OSH performance in
Iran.
Our objectives are as follows:
• encourage new membership through familiarisation and
introduction programs
• support members in achieving their proposed category of
membership
• support training programs such as the “1-year HSE Engineer
course” to help raise the level of qualifications
• hold CPD and IPD workshops to assist graduate members in
working towards chartered membership
• host annual OSH conferences attended by a wide range of
international professionals willing to share knowledge and
experience
As the IOSH Iran coordinator, I personally look forward to working
with all of you to fulfil the mission of IOSH "A world of work
which is safe, healthy and sustainable".
