IOSH President sends message of support

IOSH President Steve Granger has sent a message of support to the Institution’s members and partners in the Middle East.

Steve visited the United Arab Emirates in December to sign a letter of agreement between IOSH and the Abu Dhabi Environment, Health and Safety (AD EHS) Centre.

Since then, tense political situations have arisen across the Middle East and Steve said IOSH’s thoughts were now with our members and friends in the region.

He said: “IOSH is an international organisation and has many members in the Middle East Branch, as well as those working and living across the region.

“On my recent trip, I enjoyed immense hospitality and friendship and I look forward to returning soon.

“The current political situation in several countries is undoubtedly having a stressful effect on IOSH members and their families. On behalf of the membership, may I offer our thoughts and hope for peace in the region soon.”
