AGM 2009

The IOSH Middle East Branch's third AGM took place on 04 July 2009 at the Crowne Plaza in Abu Dhabi, attracting over 100 delegates from across the Middle East.

The AGM was introduced by Nabil Al Alwai, Chief Executive Officer of Al Mansoori, who kindly provided the Middle East Branch with a venue and lunch for the day.

The event enjoyed a number of presentations from speakers representing various industries around the Emirates, including:

• Ahmed Al Menhali, former Chairman, IOSH Middle East Branch
• Shehdeh Rajabi, Senior Safety Engineer (Contracts), ADCO
• Dr Sanad al Sanad, Occupational Health Team Leader, ADMA-OPCO
• Saleh Almeri, HSE Systems and Procedures Manager, ADCO.
  
  

The event closed with the election of the branch committee, which saw Peter Barnett-Schuster taking over as Chairman from Ahmed Al Menhali.
