What's in it for me

The recent rising profile has stimulated the need to review and where relevant improve the management of occupational road risk to reduce road related incidents, reduce carbon emissions and offset the ongoing soaring fuel costs. This topic is clearly on all safety practitioner's radar.

Most health and safety practitioners will work for employers or clients that have some form of involvement with work related driving. This includes incidental drivers for example company or private car drivers used on company business and employees who drive company vehicles to carry out tasks such as construction or maintenance tasks or professional drivers of vans, trucks, coaches, and buses.

Please note this seminar is not about safe driving in isolation. The seminar focuses more on the wider issues of the management of occupational road risk key factors. These include risk assessment, road risk management, driver wellbeing and behaviours, the conflict of root cause investigation and liability claims, emerging vehicle technology and full efficiency management.
