Welcome to our home page

About us

IOSH Edinburgh Branch represents over 950 members who generally come from Angus, Fife, Perth & Kinross, Stirling, Falkirk, the Lothians and the Borders and who work for a large variety of organisations.

Within the branch, we also have a district to help in providing additional meeting locations for members, due to the large geographical area covered by the Edinburgh branch, the Forth and Tay District meets in Perth, please follow the links to the district pages for more information.

Did you know?   We have three other IOSH Branches in Scotland:  Highlands and Islands BranchNorth East of Scotland Branch and West of Scotland Branch.

Edinburgh Branch colaborates with the other three Scottish Branches to run the IOSH Scotland committee.  This brings the branches together with the IOSH professional staff, IOSH Council and Board of Trustees, to provide synergy to the work of the branches in promoting IOSH in Scotland and also link in with the Partnership on Health and Safety in Scotland (PHASS) network.

Regular Edinburgh Branch meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month Meetings start at 2pm. Tea/coffee served at 3.30pm.

Branch members are encouraged to invite friends and colleagues to the Branch meetings. Branch members are also encouraged to circulate details of the Branch programme in their place of work. A location map and directions are available on the Branch venue information page.

Not able to make one of our Branch meetings? don't forget to Keep in touch and up to date with our activities with regular visits to the Edinburgh Branch website. We are always pleased to hear from you, so if you are unable to come to the meeting, email our secretary using the link provided and let us know.
