This year we are holding an event on Wednesday 13 June at
the West Wing, Ickworth House, Horringer, IP29 5QE.

The purpose of this seminar is to look at the journey that an
organisation will take following a major incident and will also
reflect on the decisions that were made that resulted in the
incident occurring. Using hindsight you will better understand the
actions you need to take to prevent such an incident from happening
in your workplace.
Speakers
Richard Neall; keynote speaker
Chief Executive, Jackson Civil Engineering
Richard will talk about the effect that a major incident has on
an organisation which has an excellent safety record.
Clive Johnson
Director, Land Securities Group plc
Clive will vividly descibe the effects that a major incident has
on the injured party, family, friends, and colleagues.
The two Macs; Interactive theatre company
This company will perform an incident and then look at the
decisions that led to the event. They will also be interviewed by
the HSE.
John Claxton
HM Inspector of Factories
John will conduct an interview as if attending the incident
immediately after the event. He will then outline the conclusions
that he has drawn.
Dave Dexter
Risk Engineer Accounts Manager, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance
Dave will talk about what good risk management looks like from
an insurer's perspective.
Peter Simpson; Closing keynote speaker
Managing Director, Anglian Water
Peter will talk about the importance of strong leadership in
both preventing and managing major incidents.
