Who is

Paul Williams?

I am a 39 year old father of four who has chosen a careen in health and safety following a 17 year period in Sales, starting with information technology and moving into safety services at Chubb Fire Limited.

My career path is a long one and I find myself at what I now realise is a very early point in my journey, I have passed the NEBOSH national general certificate and have achieved technician level membership at IOSH.

It is my intention as Membership Secretary to be a point of contact for new and existing members to help break down the barriers some of us find when attempting to attend monthly branch meetings and events.

Every time there is a Chiltern Branch Event You will find me in the lobby of the Holiday Inn (Luton South) at Markyate, just off junction nine of the M1 motorway acting as a human sign post guiding members into the meeting room hired for the event.

As one of the team of Web-Champion at the Chiltern branch my role is to file news items relating to members. So if you have any items or articles for the news pages that is about YOU and not especially about health and safety, then let me know for instance if you want to publicise your sponsored charity event to the other members in the branch or announce some good news that deserves to be shared, email it to me and I will get it on the web for you!
