Following the Caribbean Branch AGM on the 31 May 2011, the new committee members voted in are as follows:

Immediately prior to working in the Caribbean as an HSE professional Sydney was Vice-Chair and a founder Member of the North Wales Branch in the U.K.

In addition to working full-time as Director of Operations for the largest NEBOSH-based training provider in the Caribbean region, he is a NEBOSH Diploma Examiner; a Member of the Editorial Board of the HSE Quarterly, an established Regional journal which engages those with an interest in health, safety and environmental issues; a Board Member of OSHA (the Occupational Safety and Health Authority of Trinidad and Tobago) and a Senior Independent Assessor (STOW-TT) on behalf of theEnergy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago.

Anthony (Tony) is a Fellow of IOSH and Trainer Examiner for NEBOSH Certificate and Diploma programmes, with 25 years' experience in occupational safety and health. He has completed a BSc in public sector management and an MSc in risk management and safety technology levels. He is a former factory inspector and senior inspector in the Ministry of Labour in Barbados.

Shazam has nine years experience in  Health, Safety & Security, Quality and Environment, and has worked in a wide range of industries. He's been involved in some of Trinidad’s downstream energy development projects and is an Independent Assessor for the Safe-TO-Work (STOW) project. He's an active member on numerous PLEA sub-committees and he also works a part-time lecturer for NEBOSH. Shazam holds two (Level 6) National Diplomas from NEBOSH and he is currently pursuing Chartered Member status at IOSH.

Jerson has a BSc in ecology and conservation in addition to a NEBOSH Diploma.  He has been a health, safety and environment practitioner for the last six years in the field of hydrocarbon distribution and networking. He is a Member Representative for the Point Lisas Energy Association and Association of Upstream Operators of Trinidad and Tobago, responsible for enhancing the health and safety competence and awareness of nationals. He is a Technician Member of IOSH representing hazardous industries.
