Welcome
Welcome to the homepage of IOSH Bristol and West Branch. We are an
active branch with almost 1,100 members representing a broad range
of industry and commerce in the public and private sectors.
We emphasise that the role of the safety practitioner is one of
being an 'enabler' rather than 'jobsworth' and encourage the
approach of 'yes you can do it, but do it safely'!
Introducing… Speaker VidCasts!!
In addition to our Speaker PodCasts, we are
now introducing Speaker VidCasts.
Where possible, monthly meetings are now being
recorded as video as well as audio. Our new VidCasts allow you to
view a video of our presentations, with interactive PowerPoint
slides that follow the timing of the video.
As the VidCasts are viewed online, and cannot
be downloaded, we will still provide PodCasts and separate
PowerPoint presentations.
To begin and access the new VidCasts, please
login with your username and password, navigate to the members’
pages (using the menu on the left hand side) and click the link for
VidCasts. Once you click on a particular VidCast, it will open in a
new window, and run automatically.
We have already uploaded both January and
February meetings, and each meeting will follow on accordingly!
