Structure and representation
IOSH is represented by its Council, Board
of Trustees and a network of committees.
Over the past five years all of us at IOSH –
members and staff – have been working through a number of changes
that have helped us work better together. We’ve made those changes
so we can offer the best levels of service to our rapidly growing
membership, and to the health and safety profession as a whole.
The latest changes are to our committee
structure. Some of our committees will soon be dissolved and new
committees, Member Advisory Panels and Working Parties will be
created. Have a look at the
new structure (PDF 221 kb).
What happens next?
We aim to have all the changes in place before
our AGM in November 2010. For those committees that are being
dissolved, final meetings will take place between May and July. The
new Professional Ethics Committee will hold its first meeting in
September.
