European campaign 2012-13

IOSH is supporting the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work's ‘Working together for risk prevention’ campaign. 

The campaign is backed by safety organisations across Europe and focuses on the importance of good leadership and worker involvement in cutting down accidents and ill health.

Get involved

You could:

• launch a new engagement idea – look at our Pinterest site for inspiration
• use our Li£e Savings campaign resources to make the business case and show your bosses that good health and safety management saves lives and money
• set up a seminar or drop-in breakfast session to showcase health and safety success and highlight areas which you’d like to improve
• get your senior managers to sign up to a statement which shows their commitment to health and safety (for example, energy company E.ON’s ‘Rule One – we don’t hurt anybody’)
• get the message across with free campaign posters, leaflets and guides – email our campaigns team  
• use our free tools, research summaries and online toolkits to help you develop a new initiative 
• try some of the ideas on the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work’s campaign pages
