What's coming up?

On the 10th June Sheeraz Talib will be attending the launch of Men’s Health week at the Southwark Cathedral, Garry Weston Library. This year's Men's Health Week runs from the 10th to 16th June and aims to tackle the stigma of men’s mental health and promote mental well-being and help-seeking in men.

6 July 2013 marks the 25th anniversary of the Piper Alpha disaster, which remains the worst offshore disaster in UK history, with 167 lives lost.  IOSH, together with the Offshore Group, will be remembering the events of 1988 with MSPs at a reception in the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday 26 June, and with MPs in the UK Parliament on Tuesday 2 July.  We’ll be looking back on what happened, taking stock of the past 25 years in offshore health and safety and looking at the future challenges.
