administration, facilities, human resources and information systems
(IS). The division is led by Colin Gore.
The Accounts team covers accounts, payroll and budgets while
providing a management information service to the Senior Management
Team, the Board of Trustees and various committees. The team is a
key contributor to the strategic aim of 'managing the Institution

Council, the
Risk Management and Audit Committee, the IOSH

Nominations Committee.
The facilities team looks after our head office site including
all maintenance and provision of services and is also responsible
for health, safety and environmental issues at The Grange.
Our human resources function provides an advisory and support
service on all matters affecting IOSH employees, and ensures the
effective development and implementation of employment policies in
line with legislation and best practice.
The Information Systems team is responsible for safeguarding the
integrity of our data and for developing and implementing the
information systems strategy that supports the achievement of our
corporate objectives.
Commercial Division
Our Commercial division, led by Caroline Holden (Executive
Director – Commercial), has a strategic remit to 'grow financial
security in an ethical and sustainable way'. We achieve this goal
by offering employee awareness health and safety training courses.
The Commercial team researches, develops, approves, promotes,
sells, licences, ensures quality control and certificates our
courses, which are delivered through IOSH's global network of
training providers. Organisations can work with us in three
ways:
• deliver our 'off the shelf' training packages
• have their own training approved by IOSH
• mutually agree a one-off individual contract.
The Commercial division is also responsible for identifying,
investigating and developing new commercial opportunities and
products in support of IOSH’s vision and objectives.
By educating people to work in a safe and healthy way we create
a safer world of work. Find out more.
